Brian T. Fitzgerald

Owner/ Funeral Director

Brian T. Fitzgerald has been the owner and operator of the Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home since 1991. Mr. Fitzgerald, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Alexander F. Thomas, Sr. and uncle, Timothy A. E. Thomas, represents the third generation of the Thomas family to serve the Canton Community.

Brian is a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School, The University of Notre Dame, New England Institute of Mortuary Science and received his Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Over the years, he has been an active member of the Canton community. He is a member and past president of the Canton Lions Club and Knights of Columbus, and he serves on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the Bank of Canton. Over the years, Brian & his wife Kirsten have been active members of St. Oscar Romero Church where they have been Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and previously served as the Directors of the Pre-Cana Program. They are also previously active at St. John’s Parish School, where Brian served as the Treasurer of the School Foundation and he and his wife Kirsten were previously the President Family. Brian was also active in Canton Youth sports where he previously served on the Board and coached for Canton Pop Warner and he also coached both boys and girls Canton travel Basketball.

Brian & his wife Kirsten and children Kyle & Carly are residents of Canton.

Thomas Theodore

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Thomas Theodore is a lifelong resident of Canton where he lives with his wife Barbara & their children Kristen & William. He is a graduate of Canton High School and New England Institute of Mortuary Science and has worked as a director at the funeral home for the last 21 years. Tom is a member of the Board of Directors and past president of the Canton Town Club and a member of Wampatuck Country Club in Canton. He has also been a Member of the Town of Canton Select Board for several years.

Jackie Kelly

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Jackie Kelly is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer who is dedicated to serving families with compassion and professionalism. She is a graduate of North Quincy High School and Bridgewater State University. Her passion for funeral service led her to study at the former Mount Ida College Funeral Service Program, and she later earned her Funeral Service Degree from Cape Cod Community College.

Jackie takes great pride in guiding families through difficult times with care and understanding. She resides in Milton with her fiancé, Nick Kelly, and their two beloved dogs, Toby and Rhino. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, whether running local roads or spending time at the gym. With her commitment to both her profession and her community, Jackie strives to provide meaningful and personalized services to the families she serves.

Molly Loughran

Office Manager

Molly Loughran resident of Canton and a graduate of Canton High School and Bridgewater State College and has recently joined the funeral home staff serving as Office Manager.
