Timothy F. Dubois, age 64, a cherished soul known for his friendly demeanor and kind heart, passed away unexpectedly at his home of 30 years in Hull, MA, on October 5, 2024. Born in Lawrence, MA, and raised in the neighboring town of Andover, Timothy's life was a testament to the love and strong bonds he shared with his family and friends.
Timothy was the beloved husband of Susan H. Dubois (Droney), with whom he shared a life filled with love and companionship. He was born to the late Gerard and Eileen Dubois, who instilled in him the values of family and hard work. As a caring brother, he leaves behind Stephen Dubois and his wife Abbie of Louisiana, Kathy Doerr and her husband Ed of Methuen, Christopher Dubois of New Hampshire, and Mark Dubois also of New Hampshire. His nieces and nephews will remember him fondly for his warmth and playful spirit. Tim was proud to be a part of the Dubois / McIntyre clan of over 70 cousins.
An alumnus of Andover High School, Tim went on to work initially at Raytheon, and then in building maintenance at Saks 5th Ave, Episcopal Divinity School and finally a member of Local 32BJ at Leslie College. His colleagues knew him as someone always ready to lend a helping hand or share a friendly conversation.
Outside of work, Tim's interests were simple yet deeply cherished. He had a passion for playing the lottery and was considered quite lucky. Tim loved music, cars, Boston sports and various vacation destinations.
Above all, Tim found the greatest pleasure in the comforts of home. He especially enjoyed relaxing with a glass of wine, from his perch over Nantasket Beach, shared in the company of his loved ones. His presence at home was a source of stability and warmth, which extended to sharing in the care of his mother-in-law, Ruth, when called upon.
Tim's friendly nature extended beyond his immediate circle. He had the rare ability to make anyone feel at home, greeting friends and strangers alike. Always with jokes and a smile, his spirit remains with all who knew him.
As we say farewell to Timothy F. Dubois, we celebrate a life lived with generosity and love. His story is not only about the moments he shared but also about the countless lives he touched with his gentle presence. Though he has left us too soon, the impact of his life's journey will resonate for years to come, a testament to a life well-lived and a man dearly loved.
