Shana Andrews Obituary

Shana E. Andrews, a loving and friendly soul, passed away peacefully at her home in Brockton, MA, on February 25, 2024. Born in Stoughton, MA, Shana's infectious smile and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

Raised in the town of her birth, Shana was the cherished daughter of Paula DeGregorio of Stoughton and the late Paul T. Batten. She attended Stoughton High School, where she formed many lifelong friendships and memories that she treasured throughout her life. Shana carried her own special spirit, embodying the values of kindness and camaraderie.

Shana's passion for bringing beauty into the world was evident in her career as a hairdresser. With her skilled hands and keen eye for style, she helped countless individuals feel confident and radiant. Her warmth and genuine interest in the lives of her clients made her much more than a hairdresser; she was a confidante and a friend to many.

Beyond her professional life, Shana was sister to Scott Batten of Stoughton. Niece of Denise Black of Stoughton, Lynn DeGregorio of Plymouth, Christopher DeGregorio of Boston. Cousin of Lindsey Dymon of FL., Anthony Buccilli of Stoughton. Also survived by her best friends Shannon Gaboury of Brockton and Scott MacLeod of Braintree, and Sean Andrews of Halifax.

Perhaps most dear to Shana were her stepchildren, J.J., Emmalee, and Matty. She embraced them with open arms and an open heart, providing guidance, support, and unconditional love. Shana's role as a stepmother was one she held with great pride and dedication, and her influence on their lives will be a lasting legacy.

Shana's zest for life extended to her knowledge of history and the cosmos. She was an avid lover of the outdoors, often found taking long road trips to explore new places or hiking to be closer to nature. Her beloved dog Crickett was a constant companion on these adventures, and together they traversed many trails and created a trove of happy memories.

In the tranquility of her own backyard, Shana cultivated a magical Fairy Garden, a testament to her creativity and imagination. This enchanting space was a source of joy not only for Shana but also for friends and family who had the pleasure of seeing her vision come to life.

Shana's presence was a gift to those around her. Her loving nature and friendly demeanor made her a pillar in her community. She had the rare ability to make every person she met feel special and valued, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. As we say goodbye to Shana E. Andrews, we celebrate her life and the countless ways she enriched our world. Her legacy of love, kindness, and beauty will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Shana's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories, laughter, and love she shared with each of us.
