Robert Edmund Corrigan, age 35 of Pawtucket, RI (formerly of Canton, MA), died on January 9, 2026 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his loving family and many dear friends after a courageous three-and-a-half year battle with colon cancer.
Born in Newton, MA on January 13, 1990, Robby attended Canton Public Schools, graduating from Canton High School in 2008, where he was a member of the varsity ice hockey team. After completing an apprenticeship at the Millbury Training Center, Robby embarked on a career as a journeyman union carpenter. He was a member of Local 40/ 328 of the New England Carpenters Union and worked at Colonial Systems Inc., of Littleton, MA since 2014.
Robby married the love of his life, Jaclyn (Fruci) of Canton on September 3, 2022. They welcomed a daughter, Claire Everly, on September 14, 2024. Robby is also survived by his parents Patrick “Paddy” and Mary (O’Donnell) Corrigan of Westfield, MA.; his in-laws James “Jim” and Sandi Fruci of Middleboro, MA.; his brother Patrick (Denise) Corrigan of Westfield, MA.; his sister Christina “Chrissy” (Jason) Colbath of Westfield, MA.; brother-in law Jake (Emily) Fruci of Somerville, MA.: his beloved nieces and nephews: Owen, Nora and Rory Colbath, and Jack, Felix and Stella Corrigan.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Robby was a devoted fan of Pearl Jam, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and the Boston Bruins. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel, especially to Ireland, Aruba, and anywhere Pearl Jam was playing.
Robby’s family wishes to thank his team of doctors, nurses, and specialists at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Chestnut Hill, and Foxborough.
Visiting hours at Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St,. Canton on Thursday January 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 16th at 10:00 am at St. Oscar Romero Church, 700 Washington St., Canton. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed (link to follow). Burial at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
