Robert Haidul

Obituary

Robert “Bob” Haidul, a man of humor, love and selflessness, passed away peacefully at AccentCare Hospice on September 10, 2023.  Born in Boston, MA, on January 15, 1957, Bob lived a fulfilling life of 66 years, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bob was the cherished husband of Janice (Dooley) Haidul, his loving wife of 35 years.  Their bond was a testament to a true and enduring love, which served as a beacon of inspiration to their family.  Bob was a devoted father to Christopher Haidul and his wife Chelsea of Hillsborough, NH, Caroline Pimentel and her husband Jason of Rehoboth, and Alison Haidul of Canton.  He was a doting grandfather to Wren Haidul and Sonora Pimentel.

Bob was the beloved brother of  Virginia Harte of Easton, John Haidul of Quincy, Christine Haidul of Marshfield, Marie Bryan of Marshfield, Joseph Haidul of Hanover, Richard Haidul of Gilford, NH, Rita Campbell of Marshfield and the late Gregory Haidul.

Bob was a proud graduate of South Boston High School and furthered his education at Wentworth Institute of Technology.  He built a successful career as a construction superintendent for Structure Tone in Boston, where he worked for many years.

In his free time, Bob had a love for the sea and the mountains.  He enjoyed sailing, fishing and skiing.  However, what he loved most was spending time with his family.  His laughter was infectious, his love was unconditional, and his selflessness was remarkable.

Bob Haidul was a man who lived his life to the fullest, loving deeply and giving generously.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit and love will continue on in the hearts of his family and friends.  His legacy is not one of material possessions, but of love, kindness, and joyfulness.  His life was a testament to the fact that the true measure of a man is not in what he owns, but in how much he loves and is loved in return.
