Philip Capernaros Obituary

Philip D. Capernaros, age 92, formerly of Sharon, MA passed
away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Dorchester High School, Suffolk University, and Boston University.

Philip served 2 years in the United States Army, 1953-1955.

Beloved husband of Christina (Chrones) Capernaros. Married for 54 years before her passing in 2013. A private pilot, he once flew his family around the US for summer vacation. An accomplished piano player and also restored a 1941 Lincoln into an award winning show car. Philip worked in the Boston Public School system as department head for over 35 years.

Brother of late Peter S. and George Capernaros.

Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Private burial services held at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton, MA.
