Pauline Pacino Obituary

Pauline V. Pacino, a cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024, at the age of 100. Born on October 17, 1923, in Boston, Massachusetts, Pauline lived life with a passion and fire that was well known. Raised in Boston, Pauline was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Boston. Her intelligence and work ethic shone early on, and she carried these traits throughout her life. She established roots in Rosbury and Mattapan before moving to Canton in 1973, where she would become a well-known and much-loved member of the community. In her professional life, Pauline was the epitome of efficiency and support as an Administrative Assistant for a medical billing company, a role she held for many years. Prior to this, she lent her talents to Dandy Dinners in Mattapan, where her friendly demeanor made her a favorite among colleagues. Beyond her professional endeavors, Pauline was a vibrant and active participant in her community. She found joy and companionship at the Canton Senior Center, where her presence was a constant source of delight. Her involvement in the Canton Italian American a reflection of her love for social engagement and cultural celebration. Her travels to Italy with the group were among the highlights of her life, filled with adventure and the pleasure of shared experiences. Pauline's love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence F. Pacino Sr. and a mother to her son, Lawrence F. Pacino Jr. and his wife Susan of Sharon. Her role as a grandmother to Andrew Pacino and his wife Sharon of Norton was one filled with stories and laughter. As a great grandmother to Riley Ann Pacino and Owen Patrick Pacino, she extended the love of family even further. Those who knew Pauline would describe her as fiesty and sarcastic, words that only begin to capture the essence of a woman whose wit could cut through any conversation. Pauline V. Pacino's life was a century of memories, a legacy of love, and an example of a life well-lived. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will be cherished forever. As the sun sets on a life so beautifully lived, we bid farewell to Pauline V. Pacino, knowing that her journey was full of purpose and her heart full of love. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Funeral Service at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday morning May 6th at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at a later date.
