Olga Fartushnaya

Olga Fartushnaya, age 95, of Sharon passed away September 3rd at home surrounded by her family.  Born and raised in Medvin, Ukraine, she immigrated to the United States at age 68.  Olga was extremely devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved flowers and gardening.  She was an extremely hard worker and worked for many years on her family farm. 

Beloved wife of the late Aleksander Fartushnyy.  Mother of Anna Fartushnaya and her husband Igor of Sharon and Raisa Marushevskaya of Ukraine.  Grandmother of Gene Fartushnyy of Sharon, Alex Gofman of Sharon, Tatiana Timoshenko of Kiev, and Olga Haytsai of Kiev. 

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  The visitation will be concluded with a funeral service at 3:00 pm.  Burial Private.
