Natascha Jules-Didie, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on March 7, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, at the age of 46. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on September 8, 1978, Natascha's life journey was a testament to her enduring strength and compassion.
Raised in Mattapan, she was a shining light at Dorchester High School, where she laid the foundation for her commitment to education. Natascha's pursuit of knowledge led her to Fitchburg State, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, and later to Suffolk University where she received a Master’s in Criminal Justice and to Bridgewater State University where she completed her Masters in Psychology. Her academic achievements were not merely milestones but stepping stones to her life's work as a Psychologist at Taunton State Hospital. There, she touched many lives, offering guidance and comfort to those in need.
Natascha's professional life was marked by her unwavering dedication to helping others. Her gentle demeanor and insightful nature made her a cherished colleague and a treasured confidant to the many individuals she served throughout her years at the hospital.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Natascha's life was full of joy and exploration. She was an avid reader, with an insatiable curiosity that led her to discover worlds beyond her own through the pages of books. Her love for travel saw her traverse the globe, embracing new cultures and experiences with an open heart. Yoga was another passion, a practice through which she found tranquility and strength, reflecting the balance she sought in every aspect of her life.
Natascha's most profound legacy is her family, to whom she was a pillar of support and love. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jonathan Didie, and their cherished daughter, Ariana Abigail Didie. Her role as a mother was one she cherished above all, instilling values of kindness and empathy in her daughter. Natascha was the adored daughter of Mimose Verrelien of Randolph and the late Pierre Verrelien. Her siblings, Kermelle Verrelien of Randolph, Emmanuel Verrelien of Attleboro, Steven Verrelien of Atlanta, GA, and Micaela Verrelien of NY, will remember her as a loving sister who always extended a hand of support and a word of encouragement.
Natascha's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, yet her spirit remains a comforting presence. Her loving nature and kind soul defined her, and these qualities will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have felt the warmth of her smile and the generosity of her spirit.
