Minnie G. Karol

Minnie G. Karol, age 97, of Canton passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation, in Sanborn, New York. In 1957 she moved to Canton with her husband the late Stephen A. Karol Sr , where she lived the rest of her life.

She lived in Canton and was a past member of the Canton Catholic Women's Club. She also worked as a paraprofessional in the kindergarten at the Lt. Peter M. Hansen Elementary School in Canton for many years.

She was the beloved wife of the Late Stephen A. Karol Sr. Mother of Susan V. Karol MD and her husband William Stinson MD of Key Largo, Florida, Stephanie McClellan and her husband Robert McClellan of Canton, and Stephen A. Karol Jr. and his wife Tracy Karol of Canton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton MA on Friday morning, May 16th, at 10:00. Burial to follow the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Canton.
