Maria Anna Mastriano (July 2, 1950 - December 21, 2023) Maria Anna Mastriano, a beloved soul, transitioned from this world on December 21, 2023. Born in Syracuse, New York, Maria’s journey led her to Norwood, where she resided with her family for 5 years before moving to Brightview, Canton.

Maria's life was a tapestry woven with compassion, faith, and unwavering love. Her educational path was marked by dedication. She graduated from Convent High School and Maria Regina College in Syracuse, New York and completed her education at Rosary Hill College in Amherst, New York. Her commitment to learning extended beyond the classroom, as she embraced the wisdom of life experiences. For a quarter of a century, Maria served as a children’s social worker for Onondaga County, New York. Her tireless efforts touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on the community she served.

Maria’s spirit radiated kindness. She was deeply spiritual, finding solace in connecting with others. Her genuine interest in people transcended boundaries, and she would help anyone in need. Maria’s compassion knew no bounds. Maria’s heart danced to the rhythm of design and fashion. She had a flair for aesthetics, and her love for corvettes added a touch of adventure to her life. But it was her friendships that truly defined her. Maria held lifelong friends close, cherishing their bonds with unwavering loyalty.

Maria leaves behind a legacy of love. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph C. and Frieda (Eschenbacher) Mastriano. Her brother, Ralph F. Mastriano, and his wife, Julaine McInnis, share in the grief of her passing. Her beloved nephew and godson, Ralph Mastriano III, will forever carry her memory in his heart.
