Linda Jean Coletti danced her way into this world in Waltham, Massachusetts—and kept right on dancing until she passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 12, 2025 in Florida where she found her sunshine and many dear friends. She was 76, fabulously organized, and full of energy.
Born to Enrico and Edith Coletti, Linda grew up in Canton, Massachusetts in a warm, lively home that shaped her signature kindness, humor, and creative flair. She developed a love for the arts early on—music, theater, dance—and matched it with a rock-solid work ethic. She wasn’t just fun; she was fierce when it came to getting things done.
After graduating from Canton High School, Linda did what Linda did best—everything. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Systems, studied Graphic Design, and dabbled in cosmetology (because of course she did—she always looked fabulous). Her career spanned several industries, but her longest professional chapter was at Eversource, where she served more than 15 years as an Executive Assistant. Her colleagues and friends knew her as an enthusiastic, dependable, passionate woman who loved her work and her co-workers.. She was warm hearted, generous with her time, and always willing to help others. She also planned beautiful events, showcasing her unique creativity and exceptional organizational talents.
But Linda’s life wasn’t just about work. It was about joy. She was a devoted daughter and younger sister. She was the fun, stylish aunt who marked birthdays and milestones with lovingly chosen, often glitter-infused, notes in the mail. She was a loyal friend, dedicated volunteer, health nut before it was trendy, and a dancer through and through. Whether organizing performances or taking tap class with her Florida crew, Linda was happiest when moving to music.
She believed in kindness, kept her home beautifully arranged, and delighted in decorating for every holiday. Her quirky humor, generous heart, good deeds, and unshakable positivity touched everyone she met.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Enrico Coletti and Edith (Gamble) Coletti-Pizzi, her brother Gerald Coletti, and sisters Helen Connors and Carol Castonguay. She leaves behind nieces, great-nieces, nephews, extended family, and a beautiful collection of friends from New England to Florida who adored her—and who are probably still trying to figure out how she was so incredibly organized and accomplished so much. She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be forgotten and always loved.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday April 25th at 12 noon. Visiting hour prior to the service Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
