Lillian Thomas

Lillian M. (Wilder)Thomas of Foxboro formerly of Canton passed away July 21st at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood. Born in Canada she was a resident of Canton for 73 years before moving to Foxboro 5 years ago. She worked as a waitress for Howard Johnsons in Canton for several years & for Bliss Dairy & Goodies. She also worked as a housekeeper for the Chase Estate in Canton. She was a member of the Womens Group at the United Church of Christ for many years and enjoyed bowling & square dancing and loved animals. Beloved wife of the late Ernest W. Thomas & Clarence Sanford. Mother of Carol A. OConnor and her husband Michael of Foxboro. Step-mother of Philip Thomas of Falmouth, David Thomas of AR & Karen Curran of N.H. Sister of Alethea Leonard & Foster Wilder both of NH & Olga Gervais of ME. Also survived by 2 grandchildren & 1 great granddaughter. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 5-8 pm. Funeral Service at the United Church of Christ 1541 Washington St. Canton Friday morning at 11.
