Kristin Stadelmann Obituary

Kristin (Lucille) Stadelmann, cherished daughter, partner, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Saturday May 24th, 2025, in Brooklyn, NY. She was 37. Beloved daughter of Michael and Jo-Ann Stadelmann of Canton, she was born on June 1, 1987, in Newton, Massachusetts.

Kristin was a source of joy and a beacon of light to all who knew her. She graduated from Medfield High School, where she was a passionate cheerleader and a member of the school choir. She was an active dancer with the Medfield Dance Academy. She appeared in plays at Franklin School for the Performing Arts and the Charles River Creative Arts Program, which sparked a lifelong love for performance. Kristin loved working both as a babysitter and an assistant dance teacher while in high school. Her ability to connect with children and inspire them through dance was one of her many gifts. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in educational theater at New York University, where she refined her academic and creative skills.

After college, Kristin dedicated herself to nurturing young minds as an arts teacher and nanny. Her warmth and patience made her a favorite among her students, and she took great pride in their achievements. Kristin's love for the arts extended beyond her professional life. She was a talented painter, creating dynamic and evocative work that reflected her vibrant spirit. In New York, she also found creative expression as a burlesque dancer, enchanting audiences with performances that combined her love for dance and her flair for the dramatic. More recently, she was a co-host of Art Star Scene on Radio Free Brooklyn.

Kristin’s personal life was blessed with love and companionship. Her heart found its match with Francis Hall of Manhattan, NY. Together, they shared a partnership filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual adoration. Kristin is survived by her brother, Matthew Stadelmann of Portland, OR and her sister, Laura Kersanske and her husband Brian of Canton, who will cherish her memory as a guiding light in their lives. She holds a special place in the heart of her nephew, Franklin Kersanske, as a fun and caring aunt.

Kristin's warmth, energy, and courage touched everyone she met. She was a woman of many talents and an inspiration to those who knew and loved her. Her laughter was infectious, her smile unforgettable, and her spirit indomitable. Kristin lived her life with passion and purpose, and her legacy will be carried on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all the lives she touched.

Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will forever be a part of the world she loved so fiercely. Kristin's family would like to extend their love and gratitude to all who have been a part of her journey and who stood by her through her struggles and victories.
