June Flanagan Obituary

June M. Flanagan (Crean) of Canton passed away on May 11th at her home in Canton after a brief illness. She was 76. Born in Norwood she was a lifelong resident of Canton. She attended Canton Schools and graduated from Canton High School. June was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary; she also worked with the Canton Veterans Service Department assisting with the World War II Veterans Graduation Ceremonies. Mrs. Flanagan was involved in the Canton High Alumni Association and the Canton Historical Society. She worked for Dr. Tom Couch in Norwood as a secretary for many years before retiring. Beloved wife of the late Leo F. Jr. Mother of Leo F. III & his wife Donna of Stoughton, Cheryl M. Matthews and her husband John of Canton. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Thursday morning at 10:30. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the Canton Veterans Service department 801 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021 or to Caritas Good Samaritan Hospice 3 Edgewater Dr. Norwood, MA 02062
