Joseph Anthony Rose, known fondly to friends and family as Joe and "Jojo" to his 10 grandchildren, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on October 27, 1934, in Boston, MA, Joe was a man whose life was characterized by his magnetic personality, unwavering generosity and loving nature.
Joe dedicated an impressive 60 years to the dental field, where his commitment to excellence and innovation left a lasting impact. His colleagues respected him for his work ethic and collaborative spirit. His contributions to the industry were significant and enduring. Joe's professional life was marked not only by his achievements, but also by the relationships he built, which were based on mutual respect and kindness.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Joe was a man of diverse interests. He had an enduring passion for antiques, finding joy in the stories and history each piece carried. His love for cars was more than a hobby; it was a passion that he shared with friends and fellow enthusiasts. Music filled his home with melodies and memories, while his skill in cooking, especially Italian cooking, brought warmth and togetherness to gatherings.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Holly Rose, of 30 years, and his four children, Kimberly and her husband Scott of Canton, Jay of Plymouth, Robin and her husband Doug of Hingham, and Heather and her husband Scott of St. Petersburg FL. Joe's role as a husband and father was the one he held most dear. He received much pleasure, unconditional love and loyalty from their dog, Charlie Rose.
Joe's loving nature, devotion to his wife and zest for life was the cornerstone of his existence.
Words alone cannot capture the essence of Joe's warm, engaging personality. His long life was a tapestry woven with friendships, love and kindness. We celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. Joe's memory will be treasured in the hearts of those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
