Nee, Joseph E. loving son of the late Thomas W. Nee and Barbara Roe (Sweeny-Nee) passed away on September 28th, 2023. Step-son of the late William J. Roe Jr., father of Kelly Cunniffe, the late Melanie Griffin, Joeline Nee and Sara Nee.

Brother of Helen Silva, Eileen Mahoney, Michael Nee, James Nee and his wife Adele, Mary-Ellen Dota, Phillip Roe and his wife Deborah, Stephen Roe and his wife Pamela, the late Thomas W. Nee Jr., Richard Nee, John Nee and Kathleen Abban.

Loving companion of Kathy MacInnis and her children Kylie and Kevin. Former partner of Nellie Benedetti.

Grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Uncle and great uncle of several nephews and nieces.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 pm at Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home Tuesday October 3rd, 455 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows in Sharon on Wednesday October 4th at 10:00 am, 59 Cottage St. Sharon, MA 02067.  Burial will be private.
