He was a charismatic teacher at the elementary school and later as a social studies teacher at the middle school, where he was often known as everyone's favorite teacher. Joe's passion for sports and teamwork translated into a 32-year tenure as a high school football coach in Norwood and Foxboro. He not only shaped strategies on the field but also molded the lives of countless young men with his guidance and mentorship.
Joe's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for skiing, biking and golf. As a member of the Sharon Country Club, he enjoyed a competitive game in the company of family and friends. His sense of adventure and his love for his wife, Jane, took him on many vacations around the world; from snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef to safaris in Africa.
