Joseph B. Cochrane passed away at the age of 70 on May 20,2024, in Sharon, MA. Born on October 29, 1953, in Norwood, MA, he was the beloved son of the late Gerard and Kathleen (Murphy)Cochrane.
Joseph grew up in Sharon, MA and attended the Sharon Public Schools. He was a member of the Red Devils football team. He later entered the construction field where he enjoyed working with his brother Charles “Kevin” Cochrane as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing at lake Massapoag with friends. He would always lend a hand to friends and family in need. An avid sports enthusiast, Joseph’s interests led him to many games and sports discussions. He enjoyed playing Keno and was a dedicated fan of Boston sports teams. As a former Giants fan , he quickly transitioned to a Patriots supporter.
Joseph is survived by his sister, Joan M. Rockett of Foxboro, and his brothers, Edward J Cochrane of Attleboro, and Charles K Cochrane of Plainville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be private and a ceremony to honor Joe will be scheduled at a later time
