Jennie Terminiello Obituary

Jennie A. Terminiello (Carra), age 98, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, at Care One in Sharon, at the age of 98. Born on July 12, 1927, in Dorchester, MA, Jennie's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and the love she poured into her family and community.

Jennie's life journey began in Dorchester, where she was raised with the values of hard work and education. Her academic pursuits led her to graduate from Dorchester High for Girls, followed by a fulfilling time at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, where she honed her intellect and prepared for a life of service and learning. Jennie's passion for education was evident in her long and rewarding career as a First Grade Teacher for the Rockland Public Schools, where she left an indelible mark on the lives of countless young minds before her well-earned retirement.

Beyond her professional life, Jennie was a devoted wife to the late Richard A. Terminiello, and together they built a legacy of love and family. She was a loving mother to Marie Armando and her husband Richard of Sharon, and her nurturing nature extended to her cherished grandchildren, Richard Armando and his wife Jessica of Mansfield, and Gina Armando of Sharon. Jennie's role as a grandmother was one of her greatest joys, and her wisdom and kindness were guiding lights in their lives. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren, Isabella (Bella), Chase, and Savannah, her sister Mary of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews.

Jennie's life in Milton was marked by her active involvement in her community, particularly at St. Agatha Church, where she was not only a member but also lent her beautiful voice to the church choir. Her love for music, especially opera, was a wellspring of joy and comfort throughout her life. Jennie was blessed with a creative soul, and her talents as an artist were expressed through her exquisite oil and watercolor paintings, which remain as vibrant memories of her artistic legacy.
