Lay, James E. Jr. retired BFD of Sharon April 4th. Beloved husband of Geneva (Sanders). Father of James E. III of Boston, LMar J. of Easton & Darnell J. of Attleboro. Also survived by 3 grandsons. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday morning at 11. Pastor Sybil Dunwoody officiating. Visiting hours Thursday morning prior to the service from 10-11 am. Interment Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
