Francis McCarthy

Francis H. McCarthy age 83 formerly of Canton, MA, Bow, NH & Winter Haven, FL passed away in Easton, MA after a long illness. Born in Jamaica Plain, he was raised in Boston and attended Northeastern University. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II. He was a former member of the American Legion & Elks in Winter Haven and was an honorary member of the Florida Sherriffs Department & Norfolk County Sherriffs Department in Massachusetts. He retired as a Sales Executive from Norton Abrasives. Beloved husband of the late Jean T. (Corliss). Father of Kevin F. & his wife Lisa & David J. all of NH, Michael W. & his wife Pam & Paul E. & his wife Paula all of Canton & Mary C. McCarthy of Easton. Also survived by 5 grandchildren & 1 greatgrandson. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton, MA Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton, MA Wednesday morning at 10:30. Burial private. Navy Veteran WW II.
