Farah Mallebranche Obituary

Farah Mallebranche, age 46 of Randolph, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, encircled by the love of her family. Born on the first day of 1979 in the vibrant city of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Farah brought light into the world that continued to shine throughout her 46 years.

Embracing new beginnings, Farah immigrated to the United States at the tender age of 16. She carried the spirit of her homeland in her heart as she embarked on her educational journey, graduating from Dorchester High School with a determination that was admired by all who knew her. Her quest for knowledge led her to earn a bachelor's degree in accounting, a testament to her resilience and dedication.

Farah's professional life was marked by her many years of dedicated service as a Banker for Rockland Trust. Her colleagues knew her as a woman of integrity and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement. Her work was more than a job; it was an extension of her commitment to serving others.

At home, Farah was the beloved wife of Kelly Mallebranche and the cherished mother of Sarah Kelly Mallebranche. Her role as a mother was the one she held dearest to her heart, approaching it with an outpouring of love and devotion. Sarah was the center of her world, and together they shared an unbreakable bond that was evident to all who witnessed their interactions. They enjoyed spending time together and especially loved to go shopping together.  Farah also enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

She was the beloved daughter of Patrice Sanon and Israelite Lamarre both of Norwood.  Farah's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family to her siblings, who will carry her memory forward: Evelyne Vatelia of Canton, Natacha Rubes of Randolph, Machaelle Sanon of Foxboro, Marye Danielle of Norwood, David Sanon of Canton, Stanley Sanon of California, Samuel Sanon of Boston, and Jean-Marie Sanon. She was a guiding light in their lives, and her wisdom and love will continue to be a source of comfort.

An active member of the Tabernacle of Glory Church in Canton, Farah's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She lifted her voice in song with the choir, bringing joy and inspiration to the congregation. Her faith served as her compass, guiding her through life's challenges and triumphs.

Farah's legacy is one of love, resilience, and faith. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of devotion to her family, dedication to her community, and a ceaseless capacity to care for others. She will be remembered as a woman who lived with purpose and who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Farah Mallebranche's journey on earth has concluded, but the melody of her life's song will resonate forever.

A private viewing for family members only will take place from 8 AM to 8:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church, 871 North Main Street, Randolph, on Friday, January 2, at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Randolph.
