Edward Walsh

Edward J. Walsh Sr. age 78 of Canton passed away January 13th at home. Born in Taunton, he was a graduate of Canton High School and lifelong resident of Canton. He worked as a Truck Driver for AA Will in Canton and later worked for the Canton Department of Public Works for 20 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Canton Fish & Game Club and the Canton Town Club. Beloved husband of Margaret M. Snooky (Peters). Father of Edward J. Jr. of Shreveport, LA & Charles E. Walsh of Canton. Brother of Barbara Cederfield of Mansfield, Isabelle Minkel of Middleboro, Fred Gladstone of Easton & the late John Cushman & Pat Rose. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral service at the United Church of Christ Canton Saturday morning at 10. Interment Milton Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Caritas Good Samaritan Hospice 3 Edgewater Dr. Norwood, MA 02062.
