Dominick Pugliese

Dominick Pugliese passed away unexpectedly at his home in Stow, MA, on July 12, 2024. Born in Boston, MA, Dom was the cherished son of the late Stanley and Eugenia Pugliese. His life was marked by a quiet dignity, a deep commitment to his work, and a love for his family and beloved dog, Ruby.

Dom was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and Boston University, where he laid the educational foundation for a successful career. As the owner and operator of Commonwealth Valuation Group in Waltham, he was known for his sharp mind, attention to detail, and the high standards he set for himself and his work.

Aside from his professional achievements, Dom’s life was characterized by his dedication to public service. He worked for Boston Mayor White and was an integral part of his campaign team, and acting director of personnel.  

Dom took great care in maintaining his health and well-being. A private person by nature, Dom’s presence was a constant source of strength and reliability to his family. He is survived by his sister, Jeri Bush, and her late husband Ralph of Canton. He was a devoted brother to the late William Pugliese, whose wife Margaret "Dolly" Pugliese of Canton will miss him dearly, and to the late Theresa Duernberger and her late husband Daniel. Dom’s spirit will also live on through the many memories shared with his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, and friends all of whom he adored. 

Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton Thursday morning at 11:00 am.  Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday morning prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 am.  Burial will follow the mass at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
