David J. Feeney, 47, of Easton, MA, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026. Born on Christmas Day in 1978, Dave’s life was all about the people he cared for and the happiness he brought into their lives.
A proud graduate of Canton High School, class of 1997, Dave carried the lessons and friendships from his school days throughout his life. His skills with his hands led him to a fulfilling career as a skilled carpenter, a trade that not only showcased his natural talent, creativity and craftsmanship but also his innate ability to solve problems with patience and precision.
Dave's heart belonged to his beloved wife, Carrie, and was the proud father of Elizabeth, Thomas, Charlotte, and Andrew, who were the center of his world. His loving parents, Joseph and Kathleen Feeney, instilled in him the values of hard work and kindness, which he carried throughout his life. Dave's siblings, Tracy d'Entremont and her husband Phil, Bill Feeney and his wife Kerry, Erin McNamee and her husband Steve, James Feeney and his wife Heather, Mary Dumont and her husband Lance, and Colin Feeney and his wife Allyson, all cherished the bond they shared with their brother. He was also a fun-loving and devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews who will miss his playful spirit and generous heart.
Beyond his immediate family, Dave's commitment to his community was evident through his tireless involvement in coaching and supporting children's sports. He took immense pride in watching his kids dance, play baseball, basketball and flag football and he never missed an opportunity to work on cars or tackle home improvement projects, instilling a sense of accomplishment and the value of hard work in his children.
Dave loved life so much, he jumped into everything with a grin. He had a passion for fishing and weekends were often spent tending to the lawn. The laughter of his children was music to his ears, especially on spontaneous trips to the zoo or playground, and the twinkle in their eyes when he suggested ice cream for dinner will be a cherished memory.
His love for celebration was unmatched, whether it was lighting up the sky with fireworks or gathering loved ones for a backyard BBQ. Dave was the embodiment of loving, handy, and generous—a man whose hands could fix a leaky faucet as effortlessly as they could wipe away a tear.
To know Dave was to know a man who lived fully, loved deeply. Dave's legacy is one of love, handiness, and generosity. His ability to fix anything broken was only surpassed by his capacity to care for those around him. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire acts of love and generosity in the community he so dearly loved.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
