Barbara Ann Dangora passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024 in North Carolina where she resided for over 15 years. She was the daughter of the late Barbara and John Dangora and loving sister of the late John Dangora of Weymouth, Frank Dangora of Cohasset, Jan Dangora of Cape Coral, Fl formerly of Abington and sister-in-law, Helen Dangora of Calabash, NC. She is survived by her brother Richard O'Neill and his wife Patricia of Bellingham, sisters-in-law Phyllis Dangora of Cohasset and Jane Dangora of Cape Coral, FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was born and raised in the Mission Hill section of Boston and was a graduate of Mission High School. She moved to Chicago in her early 20's and began her career with M&M Mars making chocolate. When retirement came, she decided to escape the snow and cold of Chicago and made her home in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. She spent many days on the beach, going to restaurants and of course, shopping.
Barbara Ann's generosity and love of family is how she'll most be remembered. She could be stubborn but this was part of who she was. Taking chances and traveling around the globe was one of her passions and she enjoyed a happy and fulfilled life. What she loved most of all were her visits back to Massachusetts where she would reconnect with all the family, making each feel special.
Barbara's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the kind of generosity that leaves an indelible mark on the
world. As we say farewell to Barbara Ann, we celebrate a life
well-lived and a woman well-loved. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends
forever.
